The Early Stage
Bobi began as a keynote speaker herself — moving rooms with a message about resilience, empathy, and the courage to lead with the whole self. The stage taught her what an audience actually needs.
2001
She founded Equanimity, Inc. — known as EQ Speakers — a speakers bureau and leadership training company. It quickly became a top bureau, booking hundreds of speakers with Fortune 500 clients.
2010
Her book, Courage Does Not Always Roar, was published by Simple Truths — a collection of stories of women who found the courage to overcome difficult life events.
2012
EQ Speakers was sold and continues to lead in the industry today. The sale freed Bobi to return to the work she loves most: the people, not just the bookings.
2016
Bobi brought EQ Inspire back — reviving the brand she had built and reimagining it as a boutique agency for the rarest voices in transformation, curated around her instinct for matching the right voice to the right room.
Today
She leads the Southwest Institute for Emotional Intelligence and EQ Inspire — a boutique agency born from the instinct that the right voice, matched to the right room, can change everything.
